COVID-19

Blessed Sacrament Child Development Center follows guidance from the CDC, as well as state and local officials and health authorities, to maintain a safe and healthy school environment for children, families, and staff.

Protective Masks:

Face coverings are required for any adult entering the building and for any parent or guardian dropping off or picking up a child from the school.

Temperature Checks:

All children and staff will have their temperature taken upon entering the school. Parents and guardians may also be asked about any possible signs or symptoms of COVID-19.

Limited School Access:

Unless there is an emergency or a legitimate need, parents or guardians may not enter the building. Our Director or Assistant Director are always available to speak with you outside the building in person, or an appointment may be made to speak with your child's teacher in person.

Wellness Checks:

Regular wellness checks are being conducted throughout the day. The parents of unwell children are notified immediately, to help stop the spread of illness. If a child becomes ill at school, parents or guardians will be informed immediately so that they may be picked up as soon as possible. We ask that you please watch your child closely and contact your physician if your child appears to be feeling under the weather.

Please remember your child must be kept home if they show any sign of illness.

Minimizing Exposure:

We are no longer doing family-style meals, each child will be provided with individual meals and snacks. Class sizes will vary and children will be kept in smaller groups when possible.

Frequent Sanitizing and Hand-washing:

All surfaces and objects are cleaned and sanitized frequently throughout the day along with increased hand-washing for children and teachers. The school is also deep cleaned at the end of every day.
