Toddlers (12 months – 24 months)
Toddlers learn best through play by exploring the world around them using all of their senses. We address the very active needs of the toddler by providing a schedule that will satisfy their curious minds, with plenty of opportunity for hands on exploration.
Our toddler program follows a daily lesson plan that focuses on building language, creativity, fine and gross motor skills, problem solving skills, and social interaction.
Independence is encouraged in self help skills such as sitting for mealtimes, eating with silverware, putting on their own clothing, and assisting in potty training, and hand washing.
We encourage the toddler’s emotional and social development by helping each child recognize and deal with the complexities and challenges of their feelings.
Activities include music and movement, painting and drawing, story and Bible story time, singing, play dough, puzzles, blocks, housekeeping and kitchen play, puppets, dolls, and dress up clothes.
